My wife is a puzzle fanatic, having done all types of puzzles including 'Stave' puzzles. She loves the challenge of complex or intricate puzzles. She loved this puzzle! It's a challenging puzzle, evidenced by how often I heard her moan... "this is hard." That means she's enjoying it. The puzzle pieces are made of wood, small and intricate, and often in the shape of animals, which is a nice touch.
It comes in a beautiful decorative wooden box with a picture of the puzzle on the back of the lid. There are two small wooden props contained in the box that allow you to place that lid with the picture in an upright position, to aid in keeping your perspective while placing the pieces together.
Highly recommend this for you or as a gift, but only to 'true puzzle addicts.'
